Hum101, Hum201, Writing101 and Writing201 are courses for people who have encountered financial and other barriers to university education and who wish to expand their intellectual horizons in an accessible, challenging and respectful environment. Applicants must have a love of learning, basic literacy skills and be willing to attend classes, complete assignments and participate in group discussions. Applications for these non-credit courses are accepted not on the basis of past academic history, but on applicants’ desire and ability to be part of the Hum Programme.
In August 2016 we will be looking for new students to participate in the courses that begin in September 2016. To apply for a course, you must attend one of the following information/application sessions:
