Paul Woodhouse, Senior Manager
Paul has worked at Hum since 2008. He is an educator, activist and social theorist. He has a BA (hons.) and MA in Sociology from UBC. Paul’s academic work focuses on human-digital relations in the age of AI.
Reuben Jentink, Programme Manager
Reuben has been involved with Hum since 2014. His MA (completed in 2023 at Simon Fraser University) examined gardens as sites of educational inquiry where plants, humans, and others learn from and co-create ways of being together.
Heidi Rennert, Writing Coordinator
Heidi joined Hum as a volunteer in 2022, first as a Writing tutor and later as a discussion facilitator. Heidi started as Writing Coordinator in July 2025. She is doing a Phd in English Literature at UBC.
Logan Medrano, Work Learn Programme Assistant
Logan joined Hum as a volunteer in 2023 and took the Student Work Learn position the following year. He is completing a BA in psychology.
