Steering Committee

The Programme is guided by a Steering Committee made up of current students and alumni who meet four times a year.

All Hum students and alumni are invited to attend these meetings, where many aspects of the programme are discussed: course content; lectures; discussions; teaching methods; media/community/research requests; public programmes; community initiatives.

Current students and alumni participation in the Steering Committee is crucial. Their feedback and ideas are highly valued, and many new people become involved through their encouragement.

Having such an active Steering Committee ensures that the Programme remains responsive to the needs, desires and initiatives of the community, and distinguishes it from other community education projects.
