In this course, we learn about and practise writing in many genres. During class, students will have regular writing exercises based in the lesson of the evening. Writing assignments (aka groundwork) are given after the Tuesday lecture. Any writing submitted will be returned with feedback the following class.
By the end of the course, students will have learned the vocabulary and practices of writing for personal, creative, and academic purposes, helping to organize, revise and style writing with new levels of expertise.
Tuesday lectures take place on the UBC West Point Grey campus from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
